It is no secret that click and collect is on the rise.
It is no secret that click and collect is on the rise.
Last month eBay partnered up with Argos to trial a click and collect service, and now Tesco have announced a pilot scheme of click and collect outside of its own stores.
Some retailers have even begun services such as ‘collect plus’ where you can collect or return your shopping at your own local corner shop!
All of these new schemes are driving the changes in eCommerce delivery, and are continuing to promote the requirement for convenience shopping.
For B2B eCommerce, click and collect is also becoming the latest trend in 2013. Many of our own customers have been requesting this delivery option, therefore we have been conducting some research into why small businesses also like the click and collect option…
We found that small companies in particular prefer to order over the weekend or in the evening. The small business environment is a busy one with the main priority being to sell! Therefore, having the option to stock up at the weekend or in an evening and then collect from a place convenient to you saves time and money.
Speak to one of our consultants or your account manager if click collect is something you have been considering.
