ProspectSoft embarked on this years’ roadshow back in March, attending several locations across the UK to discuss some of the hottest topics in eCommerce, CRM and Cloud-based solutions. As we draw the curtain on the final show, we take a look back at what happened...
On the 11th July, we hosted our last roadshow event of the year at Chesford Grange, Warwickshire, showcasing the cloud-based CRM and eCommerce platform Prospect 365 to delegates from SME, B2B and B2C backgrounds. The morning featured a range of talks from esteemed guests focusing on topics including the B2B eMarketing cycle, using business intelligence for business growth and a free SEO and web-marketing workshop as well!
What happened on the day?
The morning event opened with an insightful talk from Tom Shurville, a web marketing expert and Managing Director at Distinctly, focusing on the importance of search engine optimisation (SEO) and the myths related to it. ProspectSoft CEO, Andrew Ardron, then led a demo showing how to make a website in mere minutes, whilst keeping it SEO friendly, which is a key component in eCommerce and online success - after all, without traffic coming to your website and ultimately your organisation, you would soon be left in the dust.
Later in the morning Rob Laver, PPC Manager at Distinctly, reflected on the trends in digital advertising from the past and the present. As well as exploring the pay-per-click (PPC) customer journey, and how social media platforms fit with each stage: awareness, consideration, conversion and loyalty. He delved into re-marketing, taking a look at how a visitor, after leaving your website, could then see an advert for that same website on the next sites they visit, encouraging them to return, rather than just forget about you – proving how useful re-marketing can really be!
Following this, Chris Morford, Head of Business Development at ProspectSoft, spoke about maximising the return on your PPC leads, including by using business email addresses related to a Google account; and by achieving business control over the full sales cycle, from marketing to sales and after sales. The CRM system was then demoed, showing the ease with which ROI can be achieved.
To conclude the busy and informative event, our CEO, Andrew Ardron gave an insightful talk on how to use business intelligence to measure business growth, involving aspects such as; service and retention, data collection and re-marketing - all linking with lowering costs and improved conversion.
